Thank You
Please join us in this powerful cause to let the families of our fallen officers know that they are not alone, that their sacrifice will not be forgotten, and that they will not be forgotten. Contributions both large and small continue to support survivors each year, and continue to help rebuild their shattered lives.

Feeling lucky? đ Want a brand new 2021 Honda?! đ Weâve teamed up with the Honda Classicâs, American Honda Birdies for Children! Introduced at The Honda Classic in 2010, the Birdies for Children program serves to help charitable organizations generate ADDITIONAL fundraising dollars through an exciting contest that culminates with a grand prize winner driving home in a brand new 2021 Honda!
How it works: Make a donation of $20 or more by making a pledge either online or on a printed pledge form. The donor then receives the opportunity to make guess(es) on the number of birdies that will be made at the 2021 Honda Classic. The person coming closest to the actual number will receive a brand new 2021 Honda automobile! The Honda Classic collects all donations and writes a check back to Golf for Cops for 100% of the money, PLUS a 5% matching bonus!

The donations we raise support the C.O.P.S. foundation in:
HANDS-ON PROGRAMS - C.O.P.S. Hands-On Programs are the heart of the organization. From
offering grief counseling to providing peer support and additional
resources, C.O.P.S.â objective is to support each survivor in their
journey to recovery. In the wake of a line-of-duty death, there is an
inherent need for a safe place to grieve and to process the feelings
and memories surrounding that loved one. With twelve Hands-On
Programs, C.O.P.S. provides retreats specifically formatted to allow
survivors to do just that.
PEER SUPPORT - Through their National Board, local chapters and national network of survivors, C.O.P.S. is able to contact a newly bereaved family â sometimes within just days of the death. It helps the new survivors to see people who have survived the devastation, thus providing a sense of hope. The C.O.P.S. National Office contacts each surviving family at least 5 times a year. Tri-annual newsletters provide messages of hope, encouragement and share stories of the survivorsâ accomplishments since the death of the officer.
BENEFITS ASSISTANCE - C.O.P.S. maintains a state-by-state compilation of death benefits so survivors and agencies will know what benefits are afforded to surviving families when an officer dies in the line of duty. These documents have become invaluable to state law enforcement organizations that are seeking information on the benefits paid to survivors. Benefits include education benefits, state benefits, workerâs compensation, pension, funeral benefits and miscellaneous organizations that assist.
